When citing a book, include the author's name, the title of the book, the year of publication, and the publisher. For example: Peter Jones, Employment Law in the UK (Oxford University Press 2017).

Footnotes

Use footnotes to provide additional information or to cite sources. In OSCOLA style, footnotes should be numbered consecutively throughout the document and appear at the bottom of the page.

Bibliography

Include a bibliography at the end of the document listing all the sources cited in the text. The bibliography should be arranged in alphabetical order by author's last name.

Online sources

When citing online sources, include the author's name (if available), the title of the webpage or document, the date of publication or last update, the website name or publisher, and the URL. For example: John Smith, 'The Impact of Brexit on UK Employment Law' (Law Gazette, 12 February 2019) https://www.lawgazette.co.uk/features/the-impact-of-brexit-on-uk-employment-law/5069495.article accessed 22 March 2019.
